19WCA had one, as did the NET office, but the 19WCA has closed theirs (as Marian says, due to liability concerns) and the NET office once went away when that was consolidated as I recall.
We only have a handheld one that doesn't really get the corks all the way in. If someone volunteers a better one pass us along their info because we'd love to do the same thing Jason is doing. Thanks.
I had made mango marmalade a few months back and found it goes great with yogurt and then I add a little more splenda to make it more sweet. I've also used lemon balm jam and that was better than the lemon flavored yogurts at the store. I've yet t...
The flavoring is what I've been having trouble with. Our baby will eat it plain but our 6 year old will have none of it so I'm trying to figure out ways to flavor it without adding a ton of sugar. I'll have to try the vanilla extract and preserves...
I've been wanting to try this for ages, but have been afraid too. I'm going to give it a try! I usually buy plain yogurt and flavor it with preserves or sometimes splenda and vanilla extract. It tastes so much better than the flavored store variet...
I'll have to try the vinegar as a fabric softner substitue and jet dry substitute. Thanks.
I just ran out of toilet bowl cleaner and refuse to buy more. It seems so unnecessary. Any suggestions as to what to use? I was thinking of just dumping a l...
It's the one thing I know how to do that I'm surprised I do but it's really easy so I figured I'd share. Our family goes through a lot of yogurt and the organic stuff is so stinking expensive. Then I stumbled upon a "recipe" in a book I took out o...
The 19WCA did have a tool library at one time, and my understanding is that it was discontinued because of liability concerns. South Wedge does have one, so contacting them to see how they manage it would be a good first step.
When we bought our house, we were wondering if there was one in the 19th Ward. It would be a great asset to the community. I would imagine that it could be time intensive, maybe it could be some thing the 19th Ward Association could start up. Is t...
Cheryl, I have decided it is really impossible to recommend planting without seeing the location and determining your objectives. I could do that Sunday afternoon if you want. If busy, the following weekend is a possibility. Call me at 436-2845 and leave a message if you want, or e-mail back. Leaving a phone message is more convenient, as I don't always have a chance to look at e-mail.

Thanks for the welcome! We are thinking about joining the neighborhood association. We are excited to get to know people in the neighborhood so would love to join in on a picnic sometime.
Shawn, I love the flowers. Thanks for brightening up the street. I'm attempting to grow some as well but don't get much sun out front.
Hope to meet everyone when we are out and about this spring and summer.
You might want to join the 19th Ward Community Association.
Welome to the neighborhood! I am still thinkingwe should all have a picnic this sumer at Genessee Valley Park, to meet each other --- get those folks from Marlborough too. That street may be a good central location to have summer block party! They have a very active block group.
Hi Cheryl!
Welcome to Location19, and the 19th Ward. My partner Anthony and I live on Penhurst as well. We are at number 60, just look for the one with all the flowers out front! haha
