Yep, I could and did take a naps in that thing. I realized that I am in the chair in my pic for this site! Thanks for keeping an eye open! I have already thought of a few creative ways to "rig" my porch/chair.... if I get another chair... so that things won't be easily stolen. Just didn't think I had to do that. Another reason to love Lowes. :)

Sheri that's awful. You always looked so chilled out in your hanging chair.
I'm keeping an eye on Craigslist to see if anyone from this part of town posts an ad for a chair like yours, and if I do I will let you know. Craigslist is a great service but unfortunately it's also a great way to unload something you've stolen.
I have been looking forward to getting our porch painted and all kitted out with a swing and a lounge chair. When I finally do, nobody'd better mess with my Martha Stewart moment.
We had the lovely hanging wooden porch swing stolen from our front porch the day between closing on our mortgage and moving into the house 21 years ago. We found out later that it was taken by someone who had just moved out of the neighborhood (recognized by one of our new neighbors who was unable to stop the theft). A couple other things were taken from our porch after that, but then we got a dog, and we've never had another problem like that. The dog was fine with almost anyone we brought into the house (we had to lock him up for some) but barked at anyone on the property, even if he knew that person. He has since died but, in transition, passed on these protective behaviors to his successors.

I live on Marlborough.
Thanks, everyone, for being so responsive! I know it is just a chair but it was a stress reducer for me. I have only seen one other chair like it in our neighborhood in all my travels so they aren't common here. Please let me know if you spot it.
Try $ for drugs. Or, gee, I would like one of them, so I'll take it. I even had a huge rubber tree in a pot taken off my enclosed porch a number of years ago.
