I saw the billboard the other day and there was a smallish rectangle neatly cut out in the lower right corner but the billboard didn't seem to be "missing" anything... I will have to look again to see if more is gone.
I drove by it on my way home tonight, and part of it has been cut out. I have seen things like this in the past. It's called billboard hacking. But what in my eyes is a irrelevance hack. Usually they are much more impressive! LOL
Example:
A few weeks ago I noticed a new billboard on Chili - right at the city edge near the canal. It featured a picture of an African American family with young adult male. THe title of this billboard is "I am Gay and this is where i stay" - It's a billbo…

My business name is LifeWorks Consulting and in that capacity I provide consultation and training to a wide array of mental health programs throughout NY state. Thurston Road is depressing
I drive on Thurston every day, sometimes several times and decided today that I need to avoid it for a while. It depresses me! Aside from the Presbyterian Home and Hunts there are no signs of the holidays on Thurston. The Post Office does have some Christmas and Hanukah stamps for sale, but the area in front of the post office is filled with litter and trash. Likewise, the rest of Thurston (from Marlborugh to Brooks) is FILLED with litter- bottles, paper plates, newspapers, drug baggies, napkins… Continue

Renaissance Square.....
I've been following the recent Renaissance Square project/debate and would be interested in hearing more about how our elected City Officials viewed this project. I've seen Dana Miller's comments on TV and in the newspaper but haven't seen anything from any other city council members. Does anyone have additional information on how various council members viewed this project, how they voted, etc??
